Journal Entry #63


    Oh Journal! You should have saw what I did today!

    I happened to convince Shorty to capture a titan for me. Like always, I name them. What do you think I should name them? I haven't decided yet, and I can't just call them it! That would be too harsh for them to handle.

    They are both small and so vulnerable due to all of the chains I latched them with. Both of them are stunning- absolutely stunning! We can get a ton of information from them! I'm performing the first tests tomorrow.

    Other than the two titans, I received yet another present from the stoic short man. Another assistant- to replace the other one that died last week! Directly from his squad! I have yet to meet her, but shorty only told me so much. Apparently, she's slightly younger than me and is suspended from combat until her injuries are healed.

    He never told me he had an injured squad member! In fact, he should have told me about this person a couple of days ago. Moblit can only do so much, and is so distracted by my experiments. Just yesterday, he was complaining that the noise in my lab last night was loud enough to wake up the Cadets! Nonsense! Experiments before sleep, right?


Journal Entry #64


    Ah! My experiments went on without a hitch! So smoothly in fact! My team and I calculated the time it takes for them to regenerate their heads and limbs. You can cut off their heads so many times without them dying- it's amazing! I never thought that I could gather this much information in six hours.

    By the way, I named the titans Sawney and Bean- they suit them perfectly! I also had the pleasure of meeting the women Shorty recruited for me. To be honest, she was pretty short- even smaller than her Captain. She has silky [H/C] hair that frames her face- have I been studying her too much?

    Ugh, Moblit just told me to go to sleep. Such a nuisance; can't he see I'm in the middle of important research?


Journal Entry #65


    I can't believe it! I'm literally about to pull all of my hair out, I'm so angry! Sawney and Bean were killed! Why would someone due such a thing?

    As I analyzed the situation, I came to the conclusion that someone must of taken out 3DMG to kill them so swiftly. Now that I think about it, I made [Y/N] guard the titans on the night they were murdered. I might need to look into her- she destroyed my subjects for science after all.


Journal Entry #66


    I've been spying on [Y/N] for awhile now. I know her schedule, where her dorm is, I even know that she tends to wander in the middle of the night. That just proves my theory! However, I need hardcore evidence that she's the culprit and send it straight to Commander Erwin.

    I couldn't help but notice [Y/N] inseparable relationship with Petra and Mr. Grumpy. When she wanders during the night, usually she goes to Petra's room or Shorty's office while he does nighttime paperwork. They're tight- too tight. Maybe they helped her kill Sawney and Bean-

    Wait, how can that be right? Both of them want to destroy all of the titans, so why would they kill them.

    Maybe studying this [Y/N] character can help me understand the science of human nature.


Journal Entry #67


    I was wrong! Oh so wrong! The culprit wasn't [Y/N] or Petra or Shorty; it was a petty Cadet by the name of Annie Leonheart. Apparently, she's a titan shifter just like Eren! Imagine how much research this will satisfy!

    When we went on an expedition last week, we managed to pull her out and made an attempt to capture her in the forest of giant trees. Unfortunately, she escaped and killed all of Shorty's squad, not including [Y/N] who was suspended from the mission.

    When I told her the news after I got back, she was devastated, so Shorty had to drag her to her room. I pity her. Maybe I should talk to her about it?


Journal Entry #68


    All the Squad Leaders and the Commander were brought together for a meeting. We were to plan the next coarse of action, which Cadet Arlert supplied cleverly.

    But before the meeting, I managed to talk to [Y/N], who was still a mess from the loss of her comrades. She blamed herself for not being there to die with them, or maybe save them from danger.

    So I said to her in the most encouraging way possible, "You know, sometimes science can't save everything."

    And thus, a relationship sprouted from there.
