Lelouch X Soldier!Reader~ One-sided Loyalty

I was alone.

Snow fell to the ground, the ice particles grouping together to form large piles over ledges and bushes. The window pane was covered with melted snowflakes that ran over the glass.

I saw my reflection behind all of the snow and white landscape. A dull and heartless face that hadn't been able to sleep for several days. I couldn't even recognize myself anymore.

Several others passed by the window ledge I sat at, trays of food in their hands and making their way towards their friends' table. Nobody took a seat at the table in front of the window, where my empty food tray was at. Others who were sympathetic enough would glance my way, only to be scolded by the company next to them.

Alone not only in the world, but in life itself.

A soldier stopped and looked towards me with a grin on his face. I saw this action from the reflection in the window but refused to face him head-on.

    "Hey!"

    I squeezed my eyes shut.

"Learn to clean up your trash, Eleven scum!"

He hurled my tray across the table and it hit the glass of the window. Fortunately for me, it didn't crack and smash from the force. "With people like you around, I can't help but watch my back!"

There was no exit

He stormed off and I ignored the whispers the other soldiers exchanged after experiencing that scene. The voices died down quickly because this was a recurring incident.

There was no redemption

Through all the snow and buildings, I saw a small flare light in an abandoned parking garage, signaling my attention. In my reflection, I saw the circumference of my iris turn red and the rest of my face seemed possessed.

I jumped off the windowsill and made my way towards the exit of the cafeteria, soldiers' eyes following me until I shut the doors behind me. I walked down the hallway quickly, acting normal enough to not seem suspicious.

A group of two ground soldiers stood in front of me when I turned the corner. "Excuse me."

"What are you doing? It's lunch hour, go back to the cafeteria." One of the soldiers said. They must be patrolling the hallways during this time.

"I'm sorry. I was just heading towards the bathroom," I lied innocently.

The shorter one on the other side narrowed his eyes, "The women's bathroom is the on the other end of the hallway."

I reached my arm behind my back and griped the hilt of a knife that was attached to my belt. I snapped out with the weapon and slashed the short solder's neck. He clutched his damaged throat and fell onto the ground.

His partner pulled out a handgun but I wedged the bloodied knife into his wrist, causing the gun to fall onto the floor. I covered his mouth with my hand as he let out a muffled scream.

"Sorry," I robotically said, "but my master requested to see me. Obeying his wishes efficiently is my biggest priority at the moment."

"Did you learn anything useful enough to report?" My master stood before me with a dark colored cap and black helmet.

I bowed respectfully at his presence. "The training instructors are beginning to teach methods to try and resist your Geass."

"That's all?" He took off his helmet and fixed his straight black hair. One eye was a clear violet and the other didn't have a pupil but was replaced with two wing shapes. His Geass eye, the winged left eye, pierced into my soul, "Your worth is beginning to question me."

"Take out your knife," he demanded.

I complied and the blade hovered just over my throat.

"Making you a spy is beginning to have its challenges." The man paced across the parking garage. "You're getting absolutely no information and you have been making your trips more noticeable." He referred to the blood that stained the knife.

"You are blinded by feelings of loneliness and regret. Regret of being born, regret of very people acknowledging your existence. You chose to be a dog of the military to have some amount of purpose in life."

"Kill yourself," he order. "You are of no use. There will be a replacement."

My hand began to shake as I resisted. His power over my actions influenced my movements heavily. My hand became steadier when I squeezed my eyes shut to avoid his Geass eye.

He was about to turn away, until I dropped the knife on the ground. As it clinked onto the ground, he froze.

"So that's the method that was taught?"

I didn't confirm that, because it seemed like he already knew the answer. I placed a knee on the ground and placed my hand over my chest. "I wish to continue to serve you, not only because of like loneliness and regret, but because of my right as an Eleven and my right to you."

He looked at me for a moment, hesitating. "Very well."

"Thank you, Lord Lelouch vi Britannia."

I'm not alone now.

As long as I have someone to relies on me, even though it may be one-sided loyalty.

I feel like I'm going to regret posting this in the future. The ending is really inconclusive and doesn't really have any story to it.
