:RQ: Black X Champion!Reader~Memories

    You strolled through the small town admiring its small buildings that held memories of your childhood. Heck, you even remembered that the family restaurant over there was your favorite place to eat ten years ago.

    "Hey [Y/N]!"

    You tore your gaze away from one of the street houses to look at the voice ahead of you. Cheren- one of your great childhood friends, was staring back at you through his glasses.

    "Cheren!" you yelled running towards him and throwing your arms around him. "It's been a while!"

    "A while! More like ten years," he managed while being squashed by your death hug. You pushed away from him and glanced around him, "Where is Black and Bianca?"

    Cheren scratched his head and replied, "Well, Black really wanted candy for some reason and I sent Bianca to watch him. You know he, uh-"
    "Yeah, he accidentally gives the cashier more money than needed." You grinned thinking about Black's stupidity.

    "Wow, you remember more than I thought."

    You clicked your tongue and headed towards the small supermarket. It was pretty cute, it had a green and white striped awning covering a narrow door way. Its glass windows were covered with product ads, and there was a lingering smell of apple trailing from the door. You walked through the doorway to by greeted by a small market filled with memories.

    You saw a short old lady setting some apple pies on the counter and called out, "Anna!"

    She turned to you and her eyes widened, "It's so good to see you, [Y/N]." You walked up to the counter and said, "Well, you haven't stopped making delicious pies." You smiled remembering the familiar taste on your tongue.

    "Never will stop. How was your time in Sinnoh? I heard your the new champion."

    You blinked at her and replied, "I loved it, they make good cakes, but not as good as your pies."

    Anna let out a laugh and said, "Don't flatter me, [Y/N]! Oh, and Black missed you a lot."

    It was your turn to laugh, "Doesn't everyone?"

    "[Y/N]!"

    You turned around to meet the new voice, but was tackled to the ground. When you were freed, you rubbed the back of your throbbing head.

    "S-sorry, I'm just excited to see you."

    You opened your eyes and saw Black. You sighed and pushed yourself off the ground. You brushed some dust off your shorts and put a hand on your hip.

    "Don't apologize," you assured him, although he didn't look convinced.

    "Follow me and I'll make it up to you!" Black said taking my hands and running out of the store. All you could here was Cheren saying 'Good luck' and some angry comments from the citizens Black was crashing into. He led me down a dirt path that had weeds growing on the edges. Your eyes sparkled in curiosity as Black kept pulling you to keep up with him.

    Eventually, he let go of your hand and gestured towards a sparkling lake. You stared in amazement at the water's surface that was covered in lily pads that had beautifully blossomed flowers on top of them. You walked up to the water's edge and observed the lake's details, but your thoughts were interrupted by Black.

    "It's beautiful right?" You nodded and replied, "Just like when I left."

    Black walked up and stood by your side staring at the flowing lily pads, "I remember when I pushed you in this lake when we were little, and it turned out you didn't know how to swim."

    You smiled at the memory and giggled, "Good times."

    To your surprise, Black laced his fingers with yours.

    "Lets make new memories."
