Literature Text

[Y/N] sprinted across a red shingled rooftop as the pursuing guards let out screams of frustration at her amazing speed. An arrow whistled past centimeters from her thigh as she leaped to the next building.
To the young women's surprise, a group of guards started running at her head on. She smirked at the sight of action, and kept running towards the guards. [Y/N] can practically feel their eyes widen in surprise at the sudden act of bravery. When the distance between them was closer, the leading guard slashed out his sword horizontally in hopes of tearing her flesh. However, the women ducked and pulled out a small dagger of her own to swipe across the guard's neck. After dealing with the first guard, she hooked her ankle with another one and flipped him off the building. His screams of terror can be heard for a few seconds until you focused completely on the last guard that stood in front of you. He angrily lunged at you with his sword, but you easily side stepped and kicked him in the gut. The guard let out a groan and dropped his sword.
[Y/N]'s ears perked up at the sound of the guards who were chasing her just minutes ago. Without looking back, she continued her run down the rooftop ignoring the guard that she just disarmed. Leaping to the next building, she glanced behind her to see the guards far behind and struggling to keep up with her.
This was all typical. She was known for her extreme agility- well all thieves have to be quick on their heels, but [Y/N] was practically faster than lightning. She perfected climbing and free running during her long, tough childhood. On the other hand, her fighting skills mostly consisted of hit and run tactics like she displayed before.
[Y/N] wasn't like other women, she was mostly emotionless and was a believer in 'actions speak louder than words'. Her attire was made up of a white dress shirt, simple brown pants, a pair of leather boots, and a black cloak. Some feared her, others admired her, and the rest hated the women's guts.
The voices of citizens that worked in the docks below could be heard next to [Y/N]'s footsteps as she walked across the rooftop. She stopped for a moment to gaze out at the ocean, but torn it away to remind herself about her duties. [Y/N] pulled out a small, folded note that was neatly written in black ink, 'Incontriamoci al porto più vicini'.
The women's eyes glanced around the crowd looking for her client. She then spotted a man with white robes leaning on the wall of an alleyway; he's bound to be an assassin. Her eyes scanned his attire; his gauntlets that were a dead giveaway to hold hidden daggers, a belt was at the waist that displayed some sort of symbol, and a hood was pulled over his head. His eyes twinkled gold until he spotted her figure of the roof and started walking down the alleyway. [Y/N] assumed that he was going to a safer location, so she headed towards his direction on the rooftops.
When she spotted guards on a tower across the market square, she jumped down on a crate. [Y/N] entered the square stealthily drawing attention away from her, but muttering 'spiacente' every time she pushed someone aside. She resisted the temptation of pick pocketing someone, and made it to the other side of the square just in time to see a figure turn a corner into an alleyway.
[Y/N] turned the corner and the assassin was before her. "I see you have not failed my request," he said with a thick Italian accent.
Noticing that he was now speaking in English, the women placed a hand on her hip and replied, "Tch, you had doubts for the best thief in Venice- and maybe even Italia." [Y/N] pulled out the requested item from her back pocket and added, "You even went through all this to get a single piece of paper, assassino."
"If it didn't show importance, I wouldn't have sent a person as yourself to carry the task, bella." He smirked obviously enjoying where the conversation was going towards.
"I assume your definition of sending is laying a random note on the person's bedside," [Y/N] snapped fiercely.
"How do you know if I wasn't there that night and you were just wasted?"
"Nice try, I don't drink." She hissed at the assassin.
The man threw his hands up in a surrender and admitted, "Calmati! Can I have the page now?"
The women let out a rare smirk and lowered the page so it was hovering over the sewer hole. "You mean this page?"
The assassin groaned and complained, "After all this trouble, your threatening to drop the page in a sewer." [Y/N] studied him closely; he had a scar on his lip that made him surprisingly intimidating, however his lack of experience showed through in his attitude.
She parted her mouth to snap a nasty reply, but was tackled by the assassin. There wasn't even enough time to struggle because he nearly pinned her down in under a second. Evilly smiling at her, he snatched the paper from your hand and stood up.
[Y/N] grunted and pushed herself off the ground, "Is that document important?" The assassin nodded slightly and placed a small coin pouch next to you sitting figure. He then twisted on his heel and began to walk down the alleyway, but stopped after a couple steps to look back.
"I'm Ezio, and you will be seeing a lot from me, bella."
<3 Anyone want to guess what the page was?
